The client was involved in a case against the buyer of her horse. The sale and purchase took place on August the 28th 2013. After several months the buyer contacted the client stating that the horse has back problems and the buyer wanted to return the horse. Now that the client was of the opinion that she had sold a healthy horse she was reluctant to take the horse back. The buyer then decided to go to Court.
After several rounds in which a thorough statement of defence was provided by mr. Schelstraete and mr. Loeffen the Court of Rotterdam provided a final judgement on May 18th 2017. The Court decided in favour of Schelstraete’s client and the claims of the buyer were rejected. The client may now claim compensation for the Court expenses.
The client was represented by mr. Schelstraete and mr. Loeffen of Schelstraete Advocaten.
